You may find yourself the only person at your work or in your group of friends who is not getting involved in some popular sin. Maybe you aren’t gossiping about the office grouch, or maybe you’re dating someone but not sleeping with them.

The evils of this world will have a complete end when Jesus returns in glory. He has already won the war. And so we wait for Him with hope and trust.

God is always speaking to us in His holy Word. As we wait in silent trust for Him to answer our prayers, our mighty Lord is at work, as He always has been. As the psalmist says, God is our Rock and our Fortress

In many cultures, stories about life after death often depict a division. It is said that people will be divided up to receive either rewards or retribution, depending on whether they were virtuous or villainous in this life.

What is the rich man’s problem? He has a hard heart. Even in the afterlife, he can only see Lazarus as somebody to exploit—a servant to bring him water. God forbid we should be like that!
