TRUTH!! Avoid Excessive Intake Of Alcohol In The Name Of Easter – Bishop Boateng

The General Overseer of the Gospel Revival Church of Christ in Kumasi, Bishop John Nana Kwame Boateng has called on the public to avoid excessive intake of alcohol in the name of the Easter festivities slated to take off from Sunday April 10 to Sunday April 17,2022.

According to the man of God, some people including Christians normally abuse the celebration of Easter festival, hence for this reasons it is the duty of the men of men God to create the awareness that Easter is not an occasion for merry making.

Palm Sundays and Easter do not call for alcoholism rather it is an occasion for the Christians to take stock of their lives and avoid antisocial vices.

Bishop Boateng advised Christians to imitate the lifestyle of Master Jesus in order to pave way for them to heaven, instead of going to the drinking spots, dancing halls and jamming centres during such occasions to enjoy in the name of Easter.

On the occasion the clergy charged Christians to learn from the humility that Christ exhibited to portray the unity, peace and love in God’s Kingdom, instead of chasing material things that cannot guarantee ones salvation.

Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

May the festive season bring as liberation and if you have given your life to Jesus Christ, then this is another opportunity to take Jesus Christ as your Lord and Personal Saviour.
