Patrons at this year’s Celestial Praiz held on Monday, March 6 in Accra were given more doses of entertainment than they bargained for when gospel singer Selina Boateng fell down flat while dishing out some wild ‘gospel’ steps to augment the show.
This happened when her colleague Piesie Esther was on stage performing and she (Selina) couldn’t resist the temptation of getting up to groove to the rhythm just like the several people who thronged to the new venue.
Out of the blue, Selina who was immersed in the euphoria o the money, miscalculate her steps and landed straight on the ground. Those nearby used to help them to her feet and she continued dancing as though nothing has happened, drawing wild cheers from fans in the process.
Celestine Donkor’s much-anticipated Celestial Praiz gospel performance, now in its tenth year, was held at the Dominion Sanctuary of the Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra, Ghana.
The event was bigger and better than ever this year, featuring Celestine Donkor and a stellar cast of other acts. Among the top performers were gospel music legends Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, and Kofi Karikari.
This program is organized annually to praise God for his goodness.
