Veteran Gospel Musician Rev. Thomas Yawson has advised gospel singers to be of good attitude because they represent the body of Christ and must make sure they practice what they preach in their songs.

According to the newly elected MUSIGA vice president, music is a calling and once you decide to yield to that called, you need to know the rules surrounding the calling and this applies especially with gospel musicians.

He made this assertion in an interview with Ogboro Naghty DJ, host of the entertainment show on Obaatanpa Radio 92.5 last Friday.

Rev. Dr. Yawson revealed that the new MUSIGA administration will make sure the Ghana Music Industry becomes stronger than before especially when it comes to structures. He also said there will be a forum soon that will spell out the details of what his new administration intend to do.

He later encouraged the musician especially the top ones to patronize seminars and other important programs that the union will organize to help them get first hand information on MUSIGA activities.

He finally emphasized that fame should not make musicians pompous but rather they should use it to impact lives positively and learn.
