A thunder strike during a brief downpour has claimed the lives of four people in Serepkere, a community in the Nadowli-Kaleo District. Three are brothers of the same father, while the fourth person is a scrap metal dealer. Preliminary information gathered  indicated that the scrap metal dealer, who had gone to the community to buy some metals from the other victims, attempted rescuing the three brothers and was also caught by the thunder shock in the process. An 80-year-old man has been found beheaded in the Agortime Kpetoe District of the Volta Region, the District Chief Executive of Agotime-Ziope, Madam Emelia Adzimah, has said. The headless body of the man, named Joseph Darko, was reportedly found among some palm trees along a road leading to the Kporta Korfe community. An 18-year-old girl, Mary, has been washed away by raging flood waters at Tesano in Accra. The incident occurred on Sunday, 5 June 2022 during the 2-hour downpour.
