The Lutheran Media Ministry embarks on a feasibility study in the northern parts of Ghana.
    The team traveling to Pusiga
A five-member team led by the Ministry Manager embarked on a trip to the North from Thursday 21st to Thursday 29th July 2022 with the sole mission of identifying new areas to which the ministry’s outreach can be extended and churches established God willing. This was done in partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ghana (ELCG) assisted by local councils.
The team made a transit at All Nations Lutheran Church Tamale and discussed evangelism outreach programs and the possibility of having a radio program. The next day a visit was made to Lom FM where the Ministry plans to have a radio program.

On the evening of 22nd July, a film about Christ in Bimoba (a dialect of the people of Bunkpurugu) was organized at the Auditorium of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church. The team had Church service on Sunday 23rd July and departed to Bawku after service. We joined three different cars to finally reach our destination( Bawku) on 24th July. The team visited Pusiga as one of the prospective areas to extend our outreach programs to establish a church.

Unfortunately, the team was slammed with the sad news of Thomas Abindau who passed away a week before our visit. It was a piece of heartbreaking news. Thomas had personally requested an Outreach for his community with the aim of having a church. The team extended our condolence to the bereaved family and gave a token as donations. We drove through Pusiga to identify possible places for our outreach programs and proceeded home to conclude discussions on our mission. We departed from Bawku to Wa on 26th July which it took us about 9 hours due to the bad nature of the road.
