Founder and leader of the Word Church Ministry located at Madina suburb of Accra in the Greater Accra Region, Rev Victor Yaw Frimpong has denounced the activities of some pastors who use the Holy Scriptures to engage

    in antisocial vices.

According to him the practice is detrimental to the call from God.

He said such pastors need to change their attitudes and bear in mind that one reaps what he sows and moreover judgement awaits them after death.

Speaking to the correspondent in an interview in Kumasi today Rev Victor Frimpong expressed his displeasure about the rising trend in which certain pastors tend to pollute the gospel.

Linking the attitudes to alleged financial greed and quest to acquire worldly materials, the man of God hinted that many pastors in this end days have adopted their own strategies to attract wealth from their congregation.

Such pastors, he went on that instead of teaching the congregation the true word of God, they rather managed to divert the attentions of members by using words like “I Decree, I Command you in the name of Angel Gabriel among other tongue speaking languages to archive their goals.

Going forward, the clergy revealed about how the alleged false pastors come out with prophesies and threatening words to win church members to part out with their monies.

On the occasion, Rev Frimpong advised Christians to avoid believing all pastors, instead urged them to critically study their teachings and if proved to be true before joining their churches.

From the scriptures God makes it clear that false prophets would surfaced in the last days to use the name of Christ to perform wonders and miracles apparently to deceive the society, he pointed. out.

On the occassion , Rev Frimpong charged Christians to stay focused and renew their faith in Christ and avoid flirting with those suspicious characters whose preaching cannot help one to attain salvation.

Concluding the man of God observed that since worldly gains are not the keys to enter into Heaven, he admonished those suspicious pastors to turn over a new for the sake of their own salvation.

    Mark.8 Verses 34 to 38

[34] And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
[35] For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.
[36] For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
[37] Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
[38] Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
