Head Coach of the Black Stars, Otto Addo has disclosed that he had a hard time deciding to select the squad for the Black Stars.
The national team of Ghana will face Brazil this evening in a friendly match as part of preparations for the World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo presented a list of 29 men ahead of the two friendly matches against Brazil and Nicaragua. This list came with several criticisms as some players were left out and some included even though they had less playing time with their club teams.
Speaking to the media ahead of the game against Brazil, the head coach has revealed the decision behind his selections. He said “ To put together the squad was difficult because some decisions were very very close. We are happy to have Tariq Lamptey who is a solid Premier League player especially because he is very very young and very fast”.
