The greatest gift we have to share is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In fact, the more we give it away, the more we may appreciate it and cherish it for ourselves. God promises that everyone who expresses Christ’s love has been born of God and knows God.

God takes a group of people and lays out exactly how they should live. They don’t just get the Ten Commandments; they get detailed explanations, all the way down to the level of “If you see your enemy’s donkey overloaded and fallen to the ground, don’t just pass by

Jesus gave His disciples the bread and wine, saying, “This is My body, which is given for you … This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood” (Luke 22:19b, 20b). His blood, shed on the cross, atoned for the sins of the world.

“Again, Jesus spoke to them saying, I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'” Would you like to have power like that? You do. It’s found in God’s Word. It’s found in Jesus.

Through us He can show the world the love that drove Him to suffer and die on the cross—yes, and to rise again, and share that everlasting life with us who trust Him. God’s power shines best through the weak.

God will not refuse us or turn us away. He calls us back because He loves us—because He wants us back as His beloved children, forgiven and made clean by Jesus our Savior.
